More so than the wedding of one famous person to an unknown, the wedding of two pop-culture icons becomes an event in itself.


In a strange way, celebrity weddings often reaffirm our sense of romance. Weddings are always romantic, but somehow the nuptials of two larger-than-life people make the romantic aspect seem larger-than-life, as well.
